The Job

WarnerMedia seeks a Video Editor I for the Video Prod & Tech department. This Video Editor position will play an integral role for our content team located in New York. This position will be responsible for editing original content for our social platforms supporting the BR National, Kicks, Hoops and Gridiron verticals.

The Daily
• Edit daily social video and export deliverables for social platforms and Bleacher Report's mobile app
• Edit templatized pieces with producer input and direction and format for different social platforms
• Edit highlights, reels, hype tapes for social and sold campaigns
• Assists with show clip outs and provides edit support around tentpole events
• Works closely with producing staff to edit elements for live production
• Occasionally edits long-form episodic pieces
• Transcribes and adds captions to certain deliverables and formats
• Maintain active lines of communication with department heads and producers on status of edits, exports, and incoming footage, while being cognizant of deadlines
• Assists in publishing daily video content to Bleacher Report's mobile app and social platforms

The Essentials
• Bachelor's degree in Television/Video Production
• 1-2 years of experience working as an editor in a media production environment. Live production environment is a plus
• Strong understanding of the Bleacher Report brand, including National, BR Kicks, BR Hoops and BR Gridiron
• Excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including Adobe Premiere Pro, Media Encoder, After Effects and Photoshop
• Knowledge in color correction, audio mixing and mixdowns a plus
• Ability to work in high pressure, fast-paced production environment with quick turnarounds
• Great attention to detail and creative mindset
• Strong understanding of editing workflows and file structure
• Knowledge working with NAS Production Storage servers and Media Asset Management systems a plus
