Associate Game Designer (Combat) - Treyarch

Treyarch is looking for a talented Associate Game Designer to join our Zombies Combat team! You'll work with a diverse team of developers to bring exciting new combat content, systems and mechanics to future Call of Duty Zombies experiences.

What you'll do…
• Work with our global and Zombie design teams to tune experiences and content while staying aligned with principal game goals.
• Gain new skills and knowledge as you collaborate with industry veterans across teams to create unique and engaging Zombie combat content.
• Gain knowledge of our global combat design principals and tools used to create and iterate on content.
• Participate in regular playtests and give feedback based on your own experiences.
• Contribute to the overall success of the team through the development of documentation, standard methodologies, and design techniques.

To succeed you should have…
• Clear and proactive communication skills when discussing combat content with your team.
• Attention to detail as you create and maintain living design documents.
• Foundational understanding of Multiplayer gameplay.

We'd love it if you also have…
• Understanding of Call of Duty, FPS Genre, or multiplayer industry trends.
• Experience in a detail-oriented design role.
• Experience with game development tools, and bug tracking software.
• Formal game design, Weapons design, Combat Systems design, training, or 1+ years of equivalent experience in a game design role.
• Passion for playing and making video games.
