POSITION SUMMARY

Trailer Park Group's Media Technology Team is looking for a Media Systems Engineer to supervise and maintain its high level software and hardware platforms, as part of the media workflow operations that support post-production.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
• Simultaneous execution of multiple projects in various stages of completion
• Transcoding and localization platform administration and workflow engineering
• Asset management systems maintenance in a global hybrid cloud system
• Data life cycle and archive tiering; oversight and maintenance of storage platforms
• Working with production and post-production teams to engineer effective localization processes and workflows
• Collaborating with workflow teams to best manage and oversee asset management workflows
• Assisting with data strategies and archiving data across tiers and global sites
• Identifying and implementing improvements to multimedia project workflows, ensuring standardization across the global team

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• 2+ years of experience in a Media Systems Administration role with particular emphasis on production / post-production and delivery systems, in a large media environment - with a particular emphasis on film and streaming post-production (advertising, feature, and episodic workflows)
• Bachelors in Computer Science, or comparable professional experience
• Experience in Telestream Vantage and Post Producer, or similar transcoding and workflow platforms
• Experience in Iconik or similar asset management applications
• Knowledge of After Effects and Premiere Support
• Familiarity with Avid, StorNext or other media-based storage systems
• Experience with process and workflow design, development, implementation
• Experience with data wrangling and lifecycle management
• Thorough understanding of the post-production process for

Annual base pay range for this position is below. If your requirements fall outside of the below pay range, we still encourage you to apply.

$160,000 - $180,000 USD
