Trailer Park Group's fast-expanding London bureau is looking for a Junior Online Editor.

This is a hybrid position, working in our central London office.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Junior Online Editor is expected to have over two years of editorial experience and able to demonstrate the experience and flexibility required for this role with a variety of editing skills.

A pivotal role in the AV team, the Junior Online Editor position would suit a candidate with a meticulous approach to projects and thorough attention to detail. Working closely with the Production Director to ensure Trailer Park AV output continues to be of the highest standard, and meets the expectations of our market-leading clients and partners.

Candidates must have demonstrable experience of delivering under challenging time pressures, and be able to adapt to shifting demands.
The successful candidate will be responsible for Finishing and Mastering Theatrical, Streaming & Home Entertainment Trailers, TV Spots and other AV campaign deliverables. Therefore, it is essential to have a thorough understanding of the industry-standard multi-channel deliverables required for these mediums.

This busy and multifaceted role requires a talented candidate that is technically proficient, versatile and highly skilled in editing in Adobe Premiere Pro. As the go-to member of the team for finishing, dealing directly with creative director, producers, motion GFX artists, and control room assistants; great communication skills and an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously are essential.

The expectation is that the candidate will be interested in pursuing a career as an online editor, and will continue to develop skillset and knowledge in the discipline. However, as needs of the business dictate, some offline editing work will also be required. As is the nature of the industry, occasionally may require a later finish, as such, flexibility is a prerequisite for this position.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
• Online Editing for a variety of AV assets, adding intros/Outros, Bugs, Text and GFX overlays, Picture Scaling, Frame Resizing, Pan & Scans, Subtitling etc
• Conform media sequences for Online Editing (Overcutting)
• Colour Grade: applying simple grades; matching grades; applying LUTs
• Creation of AAF's and EDL's and overall preps for audio and picture finishing
• Creation and QC'ing Master files and Deliverables according to technical specifications
• Support offline edit team with junior offline tasks, as needs dictate (localisation, re-sizes etc)

WHAT YOU WILL NEED: (QUALIFICATIONS)
• Highly technical, with an extensive knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, and Media Encoder, with circa two year's experience in a similar role
• Strong understanding of codecs, media formats, frame rates, resolutions and aspect ratios
• Strong technical ability to master deliverables according to rigorous theatrical, broadcast and VOD specifications
• An understanding of audio post workflows (tracklaying, exporting, balancing, prepping/tidying projects for mix) and colour grading/colour science basics
• A methodical approach to tasks, with exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Able to communicate clearly at various levels, from junior to director level colleagues
• Excellent multi-tasking abilities, demonstrating commitment and flexibility.
• Impeccable time management, ensuring projects are completed within deadlines
• Exceptional problem solver with a positive attitude when experiencing obstacles.
• Self-motivated and driven.
• Level headed, calm and functions well under stress.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
• This is a hybrid position, working in central London office two days per week, during regular hours of operation 9:30am – 6:30pm. However, candidates should be flexible and willing to work outside of these hours, based on business requirements. Circumstances may require later finish or weekend work.
