Freelance Capture Build Technician

Dark Burn Creative, a division of Trailer Park Group (TPG) is one of gaming's most prominent and growing entertainment marketing agencies, specializing in global content creation, trailers/promotions, and gameplay capture. We combine our creative storytelling expertise with large-scale production resources, uniquely positioning us to create, market, and distribute gaming content for our diverse client portfolio of top gaming development companies and major brands.

We are looking for a talented Freelance Capture Technician to join our innovative Game Capture team at Dark Burn Creative, London. If you're a self-starter with a passion for the gaming industry, proven skills in content production, and the ability to excel in a fast-paced, ever-changing, creative environment, we want to hear from you!

NOTE: THIS ROLE REQUIRES, ON-SITE EMPLOYMENT AT OUR LONDON, UK LOCATION.
* Freelance hourly work
* 3-5 days per week, onsite - London
* 3-month project, with potential extension

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
• Leverage deep knowledge of various games from both gamer and developer perspectives.
• Troubleshoot and resolve computer or capture issues independently and efficiently.
• Create detailed build fidelity reports and communicate effectively with producers and clients as needed.
• Assist the Director in determining the feasibility of shots within game limitations.
• Solve in-game problems to ensure continuous capture processes.
• Repair or replace hardware as necessary.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
• A genuine interest in video games and a desire to contribute to the gaming industry.
• Familiarity with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools is a plus.
• Unreal Engine a plus!
• Strong attention to detail to ensure the quality and consistency of captured content.
• Ability to work well within a team environment and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
• Eagerness to learn new skills and techniques in game capture, video editing, and related area.
