GENERAL SUMMARY

Trailer Park Group is searching for a dynamic Account Director to join our expanding Gaming division. If you are a self-aware leader who creates an environment for great work to thrive, sets the tone, pace, and ways of working for the internal and client teams, this role is for you.
Our Account team balances the client needs with our team's ambition to push the envelope strategically and creatively in ways that disrupt, surprise, and delight our target audiences. You will create a path to executing great work that moves our client's business and delivers on our ambitious creative goals.

You'll be a strategic leader for integrated campaigns, brand level communications, social media campaigns, influencer marketing and experiential activations, new business pitches and more. You love diving into clients' businesses, understanding their marketing challenges and proposing solutions. You love gaming, the internet, and partnering with creative teams to make cool stuff. You're fluent in the modern marketing landscape, culture of the internet, and on the pulse of the gaming audience. You're a self-starter who doesn't need to be told how to take on tasks. You don't see obstacles, you see opportunities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Client Management & Business Development
• Monitor and evaluate the competitive landscape to provide senior level strategic insights. Engage with senior level clients and continue an ongoing relationship development. Identify opportunities for account growth.

Team Development
• Supervise and provide mentorship for team members. Encourage training opportunities as needed.

Cross-functional Collaboration
• Acts as a go-to person for cross-functional team(s), collaborate effectively with Strategic Planning, Scientific Services, Creative, etc., foster positive internal relationships and ensure everyone understand deliverables and clients, needs

JOB DUTIES:
• Lead large and complex projects with minimal oversight from VP and keep the account running smoothly across projects and work streams
• Provide strategic recommendations and manage all agency resources to ensure the client's marketing needs are met.
• Provide clear and succinct client direction and feedback to the team, and contribute to strategic initiatives by offering a sound point of view
• Manage agency partners and drive cross-agency process, ensuring agency strategic and creative intent is maintained
• Understand the bigger-picture and issues on the account, and manage projects with those in mind while also considering the dynamics of clients' business and category and their implications on the work
• Recommend sound business initiatives pertaining to the business and markets that enhances sales and marketing objectives while enforcing the agency's image as a vital resource to the client team.
• Partner with the strategy team to fill in blanks with category and client insights for creative and brand briefs
• Daily communication with client to establish and maintain positive working relationships.
• Set the tone for the team by taking cues from leadership, and keep the team positive and focused on solutions
• Push clients for clarity and help them understand what they need beyond what they ask for
• Intuit potential complications and issues, anticipate the needs of senior clients through information gathered from their direct day-to-day clients and effectively manage up, bringing solutions to the VP
• Develop the skills of junior team members, taking responsibility for their growth and development, and confidently delegate tasks and projects while remaining up to speed on all details
• Financial management of accounts (determine annual fee, prepare contracts, oversee job hours and expenses, budget for future estimates).

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
• 6+ years of experience at an advertising agency
• Demonstrated track record of positive client and creative team relationships
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Enthusiastic, energetic and imaginative; approachable, outgoing and diplomatic
