SENIOR MANAGER, COMMERCIAL DATA STRATEGY
Location: Remote in the US
Division: Ticketmaster NA – Global Sales Operations
Line Manager: Vice President, Global Client Analytics
Contract Terms: Permanent, 40 hours per week

The Commercial Data Strategy team dedicated to unlocking the value of data across the organization. We drive innovation in data acquisition, integration, and advanced analytics, empowering business units to make data-driven decisions and maximize the impact of our data assets for internal and external clients.
THE JOB
The Senior Manager, Commercial Data Strategy, will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the company's data and AI strategies. This individual will support the identification, acquisition, and integration of third-party data sources, lead the RFP process for third-party data partners, and serve as an internal advocate for the power of data and insights. The role requires close collaboration with business, technology, internal and external partners to ensure data initiatives align with commercial objectives and drive measurable value. Lastly, this leader will ensure that we are testing and implementing the latest AI opportunities to improve efficiencies and elevate LiveAnalytics models and scoring.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
• Support the development and execution of the company's commercial data and AI strategies.
• Lead and coordinate third-party data partner RFPs, including requirements gathering, vendor evaluation, and contract negotiation.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify data needs and opportunities for innovation.
• Manage data acquisition processes, ensuring data quality, compliance, and integration with internal systems.
• Champion data clean room conversations and activations.
• Act as an internal champion for data-driven decision making, promoting best practices and success stories across the organization.
• Track and report on the impact of data initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Develop and maintain documentation, case studies, and training materials to support data literacy and adoption.
• Participate in cross-functional meetings and projects to ensure alignment of data initiatives with business goals.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (or TECHNICAL SKILLS)
• 7+ years of experience in data strategy, analytics, or a related field.
• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and their application in business.
• Experience with data acquisition, vendor management, or RFP processes.
• Understanding data governance, privacy, and compliance best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to translate business needs into data solutions.
• Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficiency in data tools (e.g., SQL, Python, Databricks, Power BI) is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Up to 15% travel may be required.
