THE JOB

In the role of Senior Engineer, you will work for the TM1 Enterprise Data team, in our Quebec city office on the implementation of the new data platform to support many Enterprise use cases.

You will work closely with cross-functional partners to architect, design, implement and maintain highly available data pipelines and data stores, optimized for several use cases such as reporting, analytics, business intelligence and APIs.

You should have experience and a passion for data processing, large data sets, optimization, testing and technologies. A major part of your role will be to help with the transformation of several data products into a consolidated enterprise data platform. By keeping track of industry best practices and trends, you'll be expected to contribute to the continual improvement of the business's data platform.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
• Design, implement and support APIs & ETLs levering Databricks and create unified data model for analytics and reporting.
• Automate testing, deployments, performance and recovery
• Ensure high quality through automated tests
• Develop on AWS

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
• 5+ years of development experience
• 5+ years of experience w/ Agile methodologies
• 3+ years of experience in DevOps
• Experience with Java, SpringBoot, Python
• Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, CI/CD
• Experience working with relational database, column-oriented databases.
• Experience with big data platforms (Hadoop, Spark, Storm)
• Experience in dealing with large data sets and low latency data pipelines.
• Experience with production support (24/7 on-call)
• Strong communication skills (verbal/written) and the ability to collaborate closely with remote team members.
• Bilingual: French, English
