Job Description

THE TEAM

The Marketing team oversees all campaigns for Ticketmaster clients and consumers. They work in accordance with local marketing strategies to maximise ticket sales across multiple events. The Marketing team provides marketing services support across all areas of the business and develop/drive new marketing initiatives to support Ticketmaster products.

THE JOB

This position is responsible for assisting the Client Marketing Managers (Sport & Attractions) in the Marketing team in supporting the implementation of a range of marketing programs. These include curating the content for the website, regular email communications, database marketing, reporting, social media and contributing to blog content.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
• Work closely with the Sales, Client Marketing Managers and Client Services teams, to help develop and implement marketing plans and programs to drive ticket sales for venues and promoters.
• Assist in the implementation of marketing plans through both online and offline mediums.
• Assist in producing post event and campaign reports – provide online sales/findings/screen grabs recommendations etc.
• Various administrative and communication duties.
• Work with the content & communications manager, producing editorial content to help amplify event exposure and support the fan experience during on-sales.
• Manage the flow of information, including copywriting and resizing images for the site.

YOU (BEHAVIOURAL SKILLS)
• Demonstrate strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Must be able to build effective relationships with a broad range of people. Effective listening skills are also paramount.
• A highly motivated and conscientious individual with the ability to use self-initiative and common sense.
• Proactive, driven and highly organised, able to manage a constantly varying and challenging workload.
• Proven ability to effectively manage time to ensure marketing deadlines and business needs are met.
• Must demonstrate a high level of PC literacy, including experience across social platforms. An exposure to HTML, pixel implementation and database marketing would be advantageous.
• Must demonstrate a high level of attention to detail.
• Ability to identify potential problems and devise and implement strategies to resolve the problem.
• Demonstrated ability to accommodate and adapt to changing needs of the business in a highly pressured working environment. Also demonstrate the ability to work effectively under pressure to meet tight deadlines.

YOU (TECHNICAL SKILLS)
• An advanced understanding of the contemporary Digital marketing environment, Ad technology, and data-driven online advertising.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience with emarketing tools such as Exact Target, and Mail Chimp.
• Experience with Salesforce marketing and support cloud
• An understanding of online reporting tools such as Google Analytics and Adobe Omniture
• Experience working with project tracking and team collaboration software such as JIRA, Confluence and Slack
• An understanding of the live entertainment and/or ticketing industry.
• Ability to confidently present materials in an open internal forum.
• Advanced MS Word and PowerPoint, intermediate Excel skills.
