The role:

The Finance Administrator I, will provide dedicated support for the department's operational and financial performance with respect to national client accounts. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, have strong organizational skills, be proficient in Excel and have the ability to communicate well with fellow co-workers, senior management and national client contacts.

What the job is:
• Perform a variety of tasks including the research and resolution of royalty variances, data summarization and distribution of financial results
• Prepare various financial reports on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
• Prepare weekly journal entries
• Prepare monthly royalty accruals
• Assist with the creation and update of national client contracts and settlement codes as needed
• Clear service charge validation errors for National accounts
• Work closely with supervisor, internal management and other departments on various financial projects

What a qualified candidate should possess:
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• Must possess an understanding of basic finance
• 2+ years of experience accessing, compiling and analyzing large volumes of transactional data into actionable information required
• SAP, Oracle & Business Objects knowledge a plus
• Must be self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented and have the ability to work with limited supervision in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to solve problems by gathering information, discussing options and making recommendations
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookup and charts
