Job Description
THE JOBAs an Accountant at Ticketmaster, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth financial operations, supporting the team with accurate and timely financial processes. From overseeing day-to-day transactions to supporting audits and reporting, you'll help ensure compliance, efficiency, and precision in everything we do. This role is perfect for someone with a keen eye for detail, a collaborative spirit, and a passion for delivering results in a fast-paced, international environment while reporting directly into the Finance Manager.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
• Accurately posting invoices and maintaining up-to-date financial records
• Managing bank transactions and reconciliations with precision
• Issuing client invoices in a timely and accurate manner
• Monitoring and managing Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) balances
• Overseeing financial control and reconciliation processes for each event
• Preparing and coordinating both internal and external audits to ensure compliance
• Organizing and executing weekly payment runs
• Leading the preparation of monthly financial closings
• Managing VAT returns with attention to detail and accuracy
• Supporting group-level reporting requirements
• Handling various administrative tasks to ensure smooth financial operations
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (or TECHNICAL SKILLS)
• You hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
• You have already gained 2–3 years of experience in a similar role.
• You have a good command of Dutch and French, and an excellent command of English.
• You have good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of Oracle accounting software is a plus.
