For the role within the Services team, you will be required to have an in-depth knowledge of technical specs and formats. Services work closely with MCR to process Production, Mill+ and Marketing client requests for file encoding and to ensure deadlines are met.
This person would be involved in bringing efficiencies to Services, processing current jobs ranging from internal systems and processes to client communication, interaction and delivery.
Main areas of responsibility:

• Work closely with Production to quote and track deliverables against budget targets.
• Process client requests for file encoding to ensure deliveries are completed accurately to deadlines.
• Train new Production Coordinators and Producers as hired.
• Recommend, implement and troubleshoot new services and workflows for department.
• Develop and maintain excellent relationships with Mill personnel, clients and suppliers.
• Provide advice and guidance on technical issues to clients and Mill LA.
• Attend relevant meetings – weekly internal meetings, deliverables, training courses and showcases.
• Liaise with external vendors as required.
Skills:
• Solid understanding of common file formats and resolutions.
• Experience managing internal and external relationships.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build strong relationships.
• Ability to assess and respond at pace to issues across a multitude of media.
• Proven organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
• Work well under pressure and thrive managing projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Commercial insight and enthusiasm for the advertising, VFX and emerging technology.
• Self-starter who can demonstrate creative and critical thinking abilities and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
Experience:
• 1-2 years relevant experience in VFX Technical Operations and Production.
• Experience in the creative, media, advertising or tech industries.
