Job Description
This is a full-time position with The Late Show. The Late Show's Talent Assistant acts as a support for the entire talent booking department, working closely with the head of the department. This person should have at least 2 years of professional experience working with talent. A passion for pop culture and late night television, plus a focused interest & passion for news and politics, are a must. This person should be a highly organized self-starter, able to multitask at a high level, eager to pitch, and work well with others. The role requires working closely with the talent team to ensure guest travel, paperwork, and logistics are handled quickly and efficiently, as well as working with high profile names throughout the entertainment business. Must be able to work in our New York City offices.

Responsibilities:

Act as the bridge between talent and other departments throughout the show, including digital, field and production, ensuring all teams are on the same page regarding talent-related logistics.

Manage shared calendars throughout the department.

Pitch potential guests and creative bits for guests.
Organize backstage and audience lists for all talent.

Continually improve talent green rooms.

Qualifications:

2 years professional experience working with talent.

Strong interest and familiarity with late night and pop culture, with specific focus on news & politics.
Organizational skills and ability to work efficiently and effectively.

Ability to multi-task.

Knowledge of all social media platforms and understanding of social media culture and responsibility.

Positive attitude.

Ability to think ahead, catch problems before they arise and come up with solutions.

Ability to handle confidential information.

Ability to interact with high-profile talent and executives.
