Director Sales Research (CW Network)

The Job

The CW Network, LLC seeks a Director of Sales Research for the Media Sales and Planning department. Director of Sales Research Develop/execute linear, digital and VOD metrics into cross platform measurement system for companywide use. Work on upfront strategy and ongoing client presentations. Liaison with vendors on new product testing/rollouts. Manage team of 3. 6+ yrs national experience. Strong excel, Nielsen, ComScore, Rentrak, MRI.

The Daily
• Development and execution the combination of linear, digital and VOD metrics into one cohesive cross platform measurement system. Provide tracking and trending from the system to sales, PR, Finance and Programming.
• Develop research metrics for use in upfront strategy, sales presentations and ad hoc requests.
• Responsible for developing product category and brand research insights to generate sales.
• Liaison with research vendors on new product testing and rollouts.
• Manage team of three on daily tasks and special projects.
• Work with sales to develop new strategies for selling

The Essentials
• Expertise in all Nielsen software systems and report development.
• Knowledge of syndicated sales tools such as MRI, ComScore
• Strong excel skills
• Knowledge of digital research software systems and report development
• Strong writing Skills
• Strong Skills in research analysis and conclusions
• Knowledge of media industry
• Knowledge of research methodologies
• Minimum 6 years national research experience.
