Job Description

KCEN-TV is looking for an additional news director to mainly help with the morning show, but possibly work evenings as well. We are currently a manual directing station with automation possibly on the way.

Responsibilities:
• Prepping for newscasts and executing those plans through directing or audio.

Job Requirements:

Requirements:
• Knowledge of Newscast directing and possess the ability to remain focused in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of ENPS and Chyron Camio a plus
• Computer and/or broadcast technical skill a plus.
• Work well under pressure and time constraints.
• You must be prepared to work weekends as well as holidays.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Knowledge of Photoshop and AfterEffects is a plus.

Travel: Rarely: less than 10%

Work Environment Set: Office: normally performed in a typical interior/office environment

Physical Demands Set: Light work: Involves sitting most of the time, walking, lifting, bending, standing, etc.
