Executive Producer - Nueva Inglaterra

Job Description

Responsibilities
• Apply news standards and legal guidelines to content across all platforms.
• Supervise a team of producers to ensure accurate, creative and well-balanced news content
• Train producers and team members on daily workflows and strategies
• Implement winning strategies for all platforms
• Produce newscasts periodically
• Lead breaking news and special coverage across all platforms
• Manage reporter stories/content and writing of all newscasts
• Manage and help develop skills of news staff including and not limited to producers, reporters, anchors, writer and assignment desk editors
• Manage vacation schedules in an organized and timely fashion
• Write yearly performance reviews for news staff with fair and detailed assessments

Qualifications/Requirements
• Must be willing to work in Needham, MA
• Must have a valid Driver's license and able to drive without restrictions
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
• Must be 18 years of age

Desired Characteristics
• Minimum 5 years' experience producing newscasts for Spanish-language television
• Proven ability to speak, read and write fluently in Spanish
• Experience in implementing ethical standards to newscast content
• Ability to work weekends and cover different shifts as needed
• Experience and knowledge of digital platforms
• Experience selecting stories and managing content for newscasts
• Proactive and a self-motivated individual
