Responsibilities
NBC 6 and Telemundo 51 Miami are looking for a digital video storyteller to create original videos designed for digital/mobile/OTT platforms. The digital video storyteller will shoot, write and edit stories for publication on station digital properties. Stories may also sometimes appear on broadcast. Candidate must also report and create original articles, gather original content from local TV station's newsroom and curate a wide variety of stories from other sources to publish stories onto station website and mobile platforms. Candidate must also have knowledge and experience using Facebook, Twitter and Instagram as well as other social tools.

The ideal candidate will feel comfortable working on multiple pieces of content simultaneously, from quick-turn daily stories and edits, to something that may take a week or more. This editor/producer will partner with veteran TV reporters and producers to create digital versions of broadcast content. They also will create original content, explainers, lifestyle pieces and listicles. While the candidate may sometimes appear on camera, this is not an on-air reporter position.

The right candidate should be passionate about news, have excellent people skills and team orientation. The candidate must also be able to deliver high quality content under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities:
• Manage the creation of digital-first video products for a variety of social, digital and OTT platform s
• Must be skilled writer with outstanding communication skills
• Able to digest lots of information and present it in a simple video
• Develop graphic elements and treatments for videos to engage mobile users.
• Actively monitor a variety of video sources to identify content that would appeal to our audience

Qualifications/Requirements
• Minimum 2 years experience
• Must be willing to work flexible schedule, weekends
• Must be proficient in Adobe Premiere
• Spanish language skills preferred
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must be covered by Solutions, NBCU's Alternative Dispute Resolution Program
