If you love high school sports and love the idea of covering them in Colorado, we have the opportunity you're looking for! 9NEWS in Denver is looking for a prep sports specialist to cover young athletes year round.

Responsibilities:
• Find, shoot, write, track and edit stories about high school athletes in all sports.
• Appear on camera in studio and live situations to report on games.
• Produce, edit and anchor prep sports segments on our weekend morning newscasts that include multiple video, graphic and live interview elements.
• Demonstrate excellent skills in all these disciplines: Shooting video, writing, editing and on-camera presentation.
• Use best practices to generate activity on all social and digital platforms, including submitting well written digital copy for each original television report.
Requirements:
• A passion for sports and an interest in telling the stories of young athletes.
• A four year degree in journalism, communications or a related field preferred.
• One to three years of experience producing video sports content, including voice and on camera work.
• Proficiency in photography, editing and smooth on-camera work.
• A positive and energetic personality
RELOCATION ASSISTANCE PROVIDED
PAY RANGE: $60,000-$70,000.

Pay Range
$60,000 - $70,000 USD
