What You'll Do:
As an MSJ at FOX West Texas, you'll be the heartbeat of our newsroom, driving engaging, real-time news coverage that matters to our community. You'll get to mix up writing, on-the-ground reporting, and social media savvy to keep our audience informed. Your Responsibilities Will Include:
LIVE Reporting: Bring breaking news to life on-air and across digital platforms, giving viewers the latest updates from the heart of the Permian Basin.
Content Creation: Craft unique, must-read stories for FOX West Texas' broadcast, website, social media, and streaming platforms - it's all you, all the time!
Social Media Magic: Use social media to connect with viewers, share breaking news, and keep the conversation going in real-time.
OTT Reporting: Create cool, tailored content for OTT platforms - reaching our audience on every device they use.
Breaking News: React quickly to the biggest stories of the day, delivering accurate info and insights as things unfold.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with an awesome newsroom team to make sure our stories shine across all platforms.
Trend Spotting: Stay ahead of the curve by identifying hot topics and trending stories that get people talking.
