KSDK-TV Saint Louis, the NBC TEGNA affiliate, is looking for an experienced Multi-Skilled Journalist - Specialty to help maintain our tradition of superior reporting and newsgathering. We are interested in finding a journalist who sets a high bar by consistently turning unique, memorable and well written stories, suited for all platforms. If you're a creative storyteller who understands true multi-platform journalism and who is not bound by the methods of traditional TV news - we want to hear from you! This is a part-time, hourly position.

Responsibilities:
• Develop story ideas and franchises that grow audience
• Conduct interviews for both linear and streaming
• Create original programming content
• Research for facts and credibility.
• Write in an exciting, captivating and authentic manner
• Participate in recruiting and coaching of talent, as needed

Requirements:
• 10-20 years reporting experience a must
• Must possess solid news judgment, display strong communication skills, creativity, and ethical decision-making skills.
• Strong writing skills, production skills and tease writing abilities.
• ENPS, EDIUS and Axis graphics experience is preferred.
• Must be organized with the ability to work under constant deadlines.
• Must be able to calmly handle live breaking news situations and changing events.
• Proven social and digital content creation ability.
• Knowledge of Saint Louis a plus
