9NEWS (KUSA) in Denver is looking for a Content Producer who can bring urgency, creativity, and teamwork to our Monday through Friday morning news.

We're searching for someone with an eye for breaking news and enterprise content particularly in the early hours of the morning. This producer should be excited by a variety of stories and storytelling techniques to help create a balanced, exciting, and informative show. They will want to share their ideas to make our newscasts stand out from our competitors.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a positive mindset. This producer should be ready to take on any challenges and find solutions in their work environment and community. Above all, this producer should express an innate desire to learn and grow alongside their team.

Responsibilities:

Requirements:
• Own breaking news in coordination with producers and on-air team
• Line produce newscasts regularly on an as-needed basis
• Produce content and engagement for broadcast, digital and social media
• Write content for 9News.com
• Have a voice in the content and transformation of 9NEWS Mornings
• Be a leader in the newsroom

Job Requirements:

Requirements:
• College degree in journalism, communications or similar preferred
• 1-3 years full-time newscast producing experience
• Ability to work well with a team

Pay range: $26.45 - $28.85 per hour. Salary is dependent upon qualifications and experience.
