We are currently looking for talented and enthusiastic Technical Artist specializing in Shotgun/ shotgrid to join the Production team in Bangalore. The Technical Artist is responsible for the successful implementation and maintenance of ShotGrid - with a focus on setting workflows, introducing new features and onboarding productions.
Primary Responsibilities
• Be the main point of contact and the studio expert on ShotGrid.
• WORKFLOWS:
• Partner with the key stakeholders on setting best practices with regards to ShotGrid and all the reports it feeds.
• Propose the most efficient ways of tracking and reporting the progress of a project.
• Strive to reduce manual inputs and set up automations to the extent possible.
• Onboard & customize new templates for: Departments & Projects.
• Interface should be user friendly.
• TRAINING:
• Ensure that Producers, PMs, Coordinators, PAs, Supervisors, Artists and Technical Directors are trained on how to use ShotGrid and aware of the best practices / workflows.
• Be responsible for the training of all new joiners.
• DEVELOPMENT:
• Partner closely with the Technology team on any new features that need to be developed.
• Seek regular feedback from all end users and work towards improving their experience.
• Maintain a log of all development work and schedule them with the development team.
• Ensure that the scope of work is clear for the developers.
• Help prepare mockups, if needed.
• In close partnership with the Sr. Management, prioritize the future requests.
• Anticipate and communicate issues with potential solutions or dependencies.
• Communicate all changes/updates/roadmap to all end users.
• Be in touch with ShotGrid/Autodesk for any support needed.
• Ensure Dashboards with project status overview is created and maintained for existing & new shows that are getting started.
• Integrate ShotGrid with Google sheets.
• COMPLIANCE:
• Setup a mechanism to validate the information in ShotGrid.
• Send regular reports to the team on overdue tasks, wrong entries or data and work with them to resolve.
• Manage & partner with DMs for ensuring time logs are generated & validated in a regular basis.
Qualifications
• Must have 2+ years of experience with Tracking tools, with specific proficiency in ShotGrid.
• Proficient in Google Docs, Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
