A Mid Lighting Artist is responsible for creating efficient and high-quality lighting on a range of visual effects projects. Working with other Lighting Artists, show production and creative supervision; they creatively light, manage, optimize and troubleshoot 3D scenes to provide render elements for compositing. Mid Lighting Artists help to define the lighting design within scenes.

• Create and use Lighting setups to work consistently and seamlessly integrate CG into shots.
• Responsible for the timely execution of their tasks and deliver your shots at a scheduled time.
• Work with Senior and Lead Artists to ensure shots work in context and ensure quality matches requirement.
• Composite and present your work in daily sessions for feedback.
• Lighting artists work closely with compositors to finish their own shots so that computer generated elements are seamlessly integrated into shots.
• Communicate with Lighting team and production to flag issues.
• Monitor your renders on the render farm.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by your Manager or a Key Business Relationship.
