• Shape the vision and technology road-map for TCS
• Provide thought leadership to challenge and influence all technical designs to best utilise the capabilities of our platforms, applications and people
• To provide technical support to internal and external customers and to Corporate Applications Engineer on more complex enquiries, and for strategically important customers where the nature of the project dictates a higher level of technical input.
• Engage with business leaders in conceptualisation and lead in shaping ideas into initiatives
• Work with our partners to oversee the production of solution design artifacts
• Act as point of contact to ensure all parties (including internal and external technical / development teams) understand the ambition and agreed solution
• Ensure all solutions adhere to all architectural, security, and quality standards
• Continually expand architecture knowledge and capability, constantly seeking ways to broaden exposure to the latest and greatest trends and developments in the technology space
• Incorporate the latest trends and innovations into the Customer ecosystem in partnership with the brand and marketing teams, UX/UI, Product and Delivery
• Assess the customer systems architecture currently in place and work with our partners to Transform and Run teams to recommend solutions to improve it (continuous improvement of the way Solution Design is performed)
• Identify risks affecting solutions, including mitigating recommendations and support in handling those risks.

Qualifications
• Demonstrable experience in Corporate Applications architecture and design
• Experience in solution design on customer-focused digital services such as web, mobile, eCommerce and eBusiness
• Demonstrated ability to deliver integrated Business-IT strategy
• Experience in developing enterprise and solutions architecture artifacts
• Experience with Agile (or agile / waterfall hybrid) development practices and techniques
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to discuss the technical design with business partners and translate design concepts to IT operations
• Competent in designing and implementing fully integrated globally scalable multi-channel commerce architecture
• Ability to design an interconnected architecture that enables the creation of data-driven experiences that can extend the right offer at the right time via the right channel
• Exposure to data lake and data warehousing concepts and how various data systems can be integrated to enable quick generation of insights
