WarnerMedia Studios is an in-house creative production organization designed to support WarnerMedia's brands from TBS to TNT, Cartoon Network to TCM, Bleacher Report to Turner Sports and everything in between. THE TEAM

WarnerMedia Studios Creative Services is the post-production arm of WarnerMedia Studios. We are a collective of industry-defining Graphic Artists, Editors, and Sound Designers, as well as the management team working to support the craftspeople.

THE JOB

The Editor/Videographer (Sports Social) Apprenticeship is a two-year program geared towards growing craftspeople who dream of telling stories from a social-first perspective.

Candidates should have experience with the foundations of shooting and editing, such as:
• The ability to tell stories from a social-first perspective
• The ability to write, shoot, and edit content that tells a compelling story, both short and long form
• Non-linear editing experience (Adobe Premier non-linear editing experience is a must)
• Consistently meet deadlines with partners and staff
• Prioritizing workload
• The ability to maintain digital assets, archives, and edit systems
• Knowledge of the post-production process, including media management and encoding video to various formats
• Knowledge of cameras, videography, and creative lighting techniques
• Self-reliance

THE DAILY
• Act as a trusted contributor to our Sports partners throughout the entire project lifecycle – ideation and production through final delivery
• Concept, and execute creative assets in support of our Sports partners
• Show originality by providing unique solutions to solve problems with stylistic variety
• Manage personal and project time frames and complete assigned tasks on schedule
• Demonstrate risk taking and innovation and push skills by looking for creative opportunities in each task
• Participate in brainstorm sessions and support creative teams as needed

THE ESSENTIALS
• Demo reel of current work required
• 1-2 years of relevant experience, collegiate or professional sports television post-production preferred
• Strong Adobe Creative Suite skills
• Knowledge of social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram
• Must be able to perform under very tight deadlines
• Editing and shooting skills mandatory
• Thorough understanding of post-production processes
• Meticulous organization and categorizing skills
• Creative flair for storytelling
• Interpersonal Skills
• Self-motivated/ Takes initiative / Intuitive
• Time management skills
• Knowledge and appreciation of Turner Sports, sports in general and social media a plus
