Senior Manager, Ticket Sales

Job Description

The Tampa Bay Rays are seeking a passionate, committed and energetic leader to hire, train and manage the Ticket Sales staff including full-time Account Executives and seasonal Ticket Sales Representatives.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Manage the Ticket Sales team's efforts to sell season memberships, groups, party areas and suites
• Ensure a culture of accountability, positivity and continuous improvement within the Ticket Sales department
• Maximize the use of CRM for tracking and reporting
• Coordinate campaign and pipeline management with the Business Strategy & Analytics department
• Develop processes to enhance the department's operations
• Maintain reports tracking KPIs on organizational, departmental and individual levels
• Coach and mentor the sales staff
• Support staff on calls, appointments and ballpark tours
Qualifications
• Three (3) years full-time experience managing an Inside Sales Department, Ticket Sales Department or the equivalent
• Five (5) years ticket sales experience that required CRM use to track activity
• College degree – BA/BS or equivalent experience
• Experience recruiting, hiring and training sales representatives
• Cross-collaboration with Marketing and Analytics departments
• Strong communication skills including written, verbal and interpersonal
• Enjoy working in a team environment
• Prefer experience with Salesforce (CRM) and ProVenue (ticketing system)
• Outstanding work ethic and attention to detail
• Proficient computer skills including products such as Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams and Zoom
• Ability to work non-traditional hours including weekends and holidays
