Job Description
The Marketing department executes brand growth and revenue driving campaigns across the club's business operations, including efforts involving ticket sales, community initiatives, DEI, etc.
The department is seeking a Digital Marketing Coordinator that will support these campaigns while primarily focusing on email marketing, websites, marketing automation, and coordination with our creative department on needed digital creative briefs and requests.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• In conjunction with Digital Marketing manager oversee and execute the organization's email marketing strategy including newsletters, sales-based emails, customer service emails, automated emails, etc. This includes copywriting, formatting and communication with MLB technical producers
• In conjunction with Digital Marketing manager oversee Raysbaseball.com, Raysbeisbol.com (Spanish language website), and other website needs as requested
• Help identify and track email and web key performance indicators that will contribute to the growth of the organization
• Contribute to weekly marketing reports and larger annual email and web recaps
• In conjunction with the analytics team and Digital Marketing Manager utilize and manage our consumer database including data acquisition strategy and implementation, data hygiene, segmentation and targeting
• Assist Director of Marketing and Digital Marketing Manager in all marketing automation efforts; provide strategic vision and coordinate with MLB
• Assist with creative process around digital marketing requests. Includes submitting creative briefs, providing feedback/approvals, and distributing finalized artwork to necessary channels
• On an annual basis assist with proof of performance reviews of all corporate partnership led inclusions across email and web
EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, or related field.
• 1+ years of professional/internship experience in a digital marketing role
• Proficiency in HTML is a plus, but not required
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience analyzing and synthesizing large data sets.
• Experience interacting and utilizing BI/Analytics tools such as CDPs, Tableau, Looker, etc. is a plus but not required
• Must possess problem-solving capabilities to discover, address and resolve issues.
• Strong communication skills
• Independent worker with close attention to detail.
• Must thrive in a highly collaborative and fast paced work environment.
