Job Description
Sunshine Sachs Morgan & Lylis is a leading global communications agency built to navigate the complexities of a hyper-connected world. We represent the icons and innovators shaping culture-from global heritage corporations and high-growth tech startups to the non-profits, creative legends, and visionary founders who define the global discourse.
Our expertise spans the full cultural spectrum. We operate at the intersection of entertainment, social impact, corporate reputation, and consumer lifestyle, executing seamlessly across traditional media, social-first outlets, brand partnerships, and influencer ecosystems. Whether we are navigating complex crisis management, elevating advocacy campaigns, or launching global consumer brands, we are storytellers at our core.
You may notice our digital presence is purposefully understated. While our clients are global household names, we believe the best work happens with the spotlight stays firmly on those we represent. We fly under the radar by design - preferring to let our campaigns, and our results, speak for themselves.
If you're driven, intentional, and ready to do good, we're ready for you!
We are seeking a high-energy, detail-oriented Junior Account Executive to join our Los Angeles team. We represent the best of culture-from major award shows and music festivals to A-list talent and film/TV projects. We believe in the ''Generalist Mentality'': we want a proactive professional who can pivot between a red carpet, a strategic brainstorm, and a client pitch without missing a beat.
The Role:
• Media Relations: Pitch high-tier outlets (e.g., People, Access Hollywood) and manage on-site press for red carpets, galas, and festivals.
• Account Support: Partner with Senior Managers to execute deliverables for 4–6 diverse clients.
• Content Creation: Draft high-impact press releases, media alerts, pitches, and briefing documents.
• Event Logistics: Own the credentialing process, manage RSVPs, and provide essential on-site staffing support.
• Trend Tracking: Actively monitor the news cycle and pop-culture trends to identify ''break-in'' opportunities for clients.
Who You Are:
• Experienced: 2+ years in PR/Communications with a focus on entertainment.
• Connected: You are already building a ''black book'' of media contacts and know how to leverage them.
• Versatile: You thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
• Meticulous: You take pride in ''over-delivering'' and possess an eagle eye for detail.
• Flexible: You're ready to dive into evening/weekend events and travel when the story requires it.
$50,000 - $50,000 a year
