Summary of Position:
The Legal Assistant will provide legal administrative support for the SVP, Business & Legal Affairs and her team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Screen incoming calls and correspondence
• Manage calendars including the coordination of internal and external meetings and conference calls
• Process and reconcile expense reports and invoices
• Maintain legal filing systems
• Handle word processing and data entry
• Maintain status reports and other documents
• Schedule travel
• Additional duties and projects as assigned
Experience & Skills:
• BS/BA degree preferred or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of four years' experience in legal office administration; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Outstanding communication (both written and verbal) and professional phone demeanor
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and other computer applications
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects
• Organizational skills to establish priorities and coordinate work activities
• Ability to handle confidential details and perform, monitor, and complete administrative projects and functions
• Capacity to multi-task and exercise initiative and strong decision-making skills
• Maintain internal and external communication and workflow
• Exercise independent problem-solving techniques to resolve administrative problems
• Knowledge of and interest in media industry preferred
