This role is part of the Revenue Innovation Group within Spotify Advertising, our fast growing business unit focussed on platform monetization through brand partnerships.
Spotify is seeking an outstanding Category Development Officer for the Health, Wellness & Personal care vertical. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the challenges of the industry, preferably through a mix of experiences including OTC and Rx. You will be able to identify consumer trends that Spotify Advertising can address. You build a close partnership with the sales leaders and you will develop a close working relationship with cross-functional teams including business marketing, product development and AdSci (Research, Insights and Measurement) to ideate, deliver or support category-specific solutions at scale. You thrive on innovation and developing go-to-market strategies that our verticalized sales teams can action to meet client needs. You are the narrator of Spotify's broad solutions for the category and the voice of Spotify to the industry, providing thought-leadership and high-touch (senior) client engagement. Your core KPIs include driving net new revenue growth for Spotify and a deeper understanding of the industry among Spotify Advertising teams. You will be executing on your O/KR (Objectives and Key Results) as an important measure of success. You have a good network in the industry, preferably within brand and marketing teams and you enjoy speaking at events, panels and industry gatherings that you will target together with our Enterprise Marketing and Comms team
