• Craft narrative approaches that highlight game play, contestants, hosts, key moments, and franchise initiatives while ensuring clarity and excitement for audiences across all platforms.
• Collaborate closely with the Integrated Marketing team to refine messaging, tone, and presentation.
Producing & Project Execution
• Produce video assets from concept through delivery-including pre-production planning, shoot coordination, on-set producing, editorial supervision, and finishing.
• Work with editors, graphics teams, production management, and external vendors to ensure timelines, budgets, and creative objectives are met.
• Manage asset pulls, selects, and approvals across broadcast, episodic, archival, and digital libraries to build efficient and accurate creative workflows.
• Oversee versioning needs for broadcast, streaming, digital, social, and partner placements.
Editorial & Story Craft
• Lead editorial sessions, giving clear, collaborative direction to editors and motion designers.
• Shape story arcs, selects, pacing, tone, and final messaging to uphold consistent brand standards.
• Ensure all pieces maintain the precision, accuracy, and authenticity that define the Jeopardy! brand.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Work closely with Jeopardy!'s internal teams as well as external partners as needed.
• Support the creation of materials for franchise extensions, specials, events, partnerships, and development presentations.
Quality, Delivery & Platform Expertise
• Deliver content that meets all broadcast, digital, and social technical specifications and deadlines.
• Maintain a deep understanding of evolving platform trends, video formats, and creative best practices across linear, streaming, digital, and social channels.
• Uphold rigorous quality control for picture, audio, accuracy, and branding.
Qualifications
• 6 years of experience writing and producing marketing materials for broadcast, streaming, digital, or social platforms.
• Strong background in promotional writing, trailer/spot development, or entertainment marketing.
• Hands-on experience producing shoots and overseeing editorial/post-production.
• Exceptional writing skills with the ability to shift tone for different platform needs while maintaining brand cohesion.
• Strong collaboration skills and experience working with creative, production, and editorial teams.
• Deep familiarity with the Jeopardy! franchise is a plus; passion for game shows, quiz shows, competition formats, or knowledge-based storytelling is strongly preferred.
