Sr. Manager, RTR Finance Systems (SAP Super User)

The role of the RTR Sr Manager is to manage and provide support / solution delivery for US and International users as it relates to Record to Report (RTR) processes, fiscal close , intercompany accounting and general finance / accounting troubleshooting . The role requires strong accounting knowledge; ideally that of an 'SAP Super User'. In-depth knowledge
of SAP FICO is a plus. The role is part of a team covering General Ledger, Statutory Ledger, FI validations / substitutions and i s responsible for the smooth running of the fiscal close in the SAP systems. Additionally, the Sr Manager will work directly with executives and users to gather and document requirements, write functional specifications, work with the team to configure the requirements in the SAP system and write detailed user instructions and manuals. The Sr Manager may
operate to deputize the team Director at such times as is required and in doing so should be knowledgeable in all functions of the team Director.

Core Responsibilities
• Provide customer service focused Production Support and analysis for FICO General Ledger, Intercompany processing and general accounting related to FICO. Production support would specifically include answering questions, issue analysis and developing solution options for new business requirements.
• Provide support and backup for month end and year end activities.
• Daily support of the custom GL enhancements through troubleshooting and issue resolution.
• Create Test plans for unit testing, regression testing and integration testing of FICO, General Ledger, Statutory Ledger and fiscal close functionality
• Co-ordinate User Acceptance Testing with the user community and obtain approvals
• Provide end user training
• Create Work Instructions for SAP functions
• Write or modify functional specifications for changes to enhancements, interfaces or user exits.

Job Requirements
• Bachelors degree in Accounting/Business and/or Computer Science
• Finance / Accounting experience is required
• 4 to 5 years of SAP experience specifically in Finance
• Advanced Excel skills are required
• Related industry experience is preferred but not required
• SAP S4 certification is preferred but not required
• Travel maybe required to support project related work and training.
• Experience in IT accounting solutions and finance problem solving
• Experience supporting local requirements such as taxes for inbound and outbound interfaces for a multinational organization with a global presence in Europe, Asia, North America and Latin America.
• Customer focused, results oriented and proactive
• Exceptional listening, written and verbal communication skills
• Solid understanding of likely integration and cross over points with internal and external teams

The anticipated base salary for this position is $135,000 to $180,000. This role may also qualify for annual incentive and/or comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
