Job Description
Reporting to the SVP, Transformation, this role is responsible for supporting activities in the areas of strategy, financial and vendor management, data analysis, and change in operational processes to transform the efficiency and effectiveness of the General Counsel Groups (GCG). This also includes project management duties in support of optimizing the use of IT systems, processes, and tools. Additionally, this role will partner with other cross-functional teams and the business on operational projects and processes that support GCG's transformation initiatives.
Responsibilities:
• Strategic Planning & Transformation – support development of strategic plans, analysis of data, and preparation of executive presentations to effectively communicate GCG transformation strategies, efforts and results. This also includes updates for the MRP planning cycle, and development of the Legal Ops department objectives.
• Financial Planning & Results – play a lead role in the development of the GCG budget/forecasts, business cases, and other funding requests for department initiatives. Monitor spend and develop ideas for efficiencies wherever possible. Provide information/metrics to clearly highlight progress and results. Additionally, there will be vendor and expense management activities to optimize spend and third-party relationships.
• Technology – play a key role in technology transformation. Through both data analytics and project management duties, support existing and new technology projects and activities.
• Act as resource between GCG and other cross-functional teams. Specifically responsible for partnering with P&O and Finance to maintain accurate headcount management reporting. Additionally, be a central GCG resource for all other Corporate and operational business partner inquiries to efficiently address needs and issues.
• Support SVP in efforts to drive culture and collaboration through additional GCG employee events and communications, as well as development of the Pro Bono Council, D&I activities and initiatives, and other organizational activities.
• Special projects as needed, as well administrative duties related to the above efforts.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Must have 3-5 years' experience in a fast-paced environment demonstrating strong skills, particularly in finance and data analysis, and the ability to work independently
• Technology-savvy; proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
The anticipated base salary for this position is $85,000-$110,000. This role may also qualify for annual incentive and/or comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
