Senior Analyst, Advanced Analytics & Solutioning

The primary purpose of this role is to support our Advanced Analytics team deliver against our colleagues' Audience Analytics and Solutioning requests. Audience Analytics consists of the Intake & Fulfilment of 1st Party and 2nd Party Audience requests – from Ad Hoc analysis & profiling to improve SPE's understanding of who our fans are, to Activation audiences for use in targeted media campaigns, to Measurement & Control audiences for use in quantifying campaign impact. Solutioning involves bringing together disparate data elements across 1st, 2nd, and 3rd-party data sets from different data environments, using this data to build bespoke analyses and tools (mainly in dashboard form), and rapidly iterating on these dashboards from Proof Of Concept through to stakeholder adoption and usage as Business As Usual. Management of both processes includes fielding requests from all SPE lines of business (TH, HE, SPTS, SPT Syndication, International, ISG, SRMA, other LOBs) to ensure no stakeholder's request goes unfulfilled, and that all fulfillment is within the stakeholder's deadlines. In parallel, the Sr. Analyst helps automate related custom queries and aggregation table refreshes, and helps document and ''bank'' the code, process, reporting templates and learnings.

Responsibilities:
• Intake Request Support -- Help intake & track all stakeholder 1P/2P audience requests and manage their status all the way through to deployment.
• Coding for Analysis, Activations & Tools -- Use internal tools (inclusive of SIEA Wrike requesting system) and write custom code to query our 1P/2P data assets based on these qualification criteria, surfacing Qualified Audience ''Seeds.'' Use internal tools and 3rd party data onboarding partners (e.g., Live Ramp) to deliver 1P/2P Audience ''Seeds'' and ''Controls'' to all needed Media Platforms, and do so w/in stakeholders' needed timelines and budgets
• Support Campaign Deployment -- Scale ''Seed'' Audiences to Look-alikes (LALs) within Facebook/Instagram, particularly for International stakeholders. Coordinate with PMG, Agencies, and Closed Loop A/B Team Lead to ensure proper sequencing and execution of Audience de-duping and suppression.
• Data Insights – exploration of new datasets, analysis architecture engineering
• Dashboard Maintenance – support tool/dashboard refreshes and troubleshooting; Track data issues through to resolution, including raising INCs (e.g., Linkers in MA dropping out of Horizon); create & track Usage Reports for our team's tools
• Bank Learnings -- Document and ''bank'' the code, process, reporting & dashboard templates, and learnings

Requirements:
• 2+ years developing & maintaining dashboards (tableau & web-based) and producing and distributing related insights reporting – ideally including campaign or product performance benchmarking tools
• 2-4 years of experience with digital media company, preferably in an analytics or data-focused role
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Analytics, Management, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or Computer Science from an accredited university
• Coding: SQL, Python a plus. Software: Excel, PPT, and Tableau proficiency; AirTable and AirFlow a plus. Digital & Social platforms; Understand how to navigate and extract audience reporting data (Google DV360, YouTube, Meta, TikTok, The Trade Desk)
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot code issues – including code that someone else wrote – and to self QC; ability to recommend and implement automated self-QC checks within code and reports
• Ability to self-orient on new data sets and conduct fast but thoughtful Exploratory Data Analysis
• Knowledge of Business Statistics
• Demonstrated experience rapidly iterating on dashboards from Proof Of Concept through to stakeholder adoption and usage as Business As Usual
• Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
• Understanding of reporting & business intelligence standard methodologies
• Can thrive and invent structure in a constantly evolving, amorphous environment

The anticipated base salary for this position is $95,000 to $115,000. This role may also qualify for annual incentive and/or comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
