Job Description
The Financial Analyst, Distribution FP&A is a key member of the Worldwide Distribution FP&A team, primarily involved in consolidation and analysis of quarterly forecasts, annual budget, multi-year strategic plans, and ultimates. This role will support the TV product line and drive value by creating and evolving planning models, data analyses, and global reporting.

Responsibilities:
• Responsible for product assumption tracking, calculating, and publishing to the distribution organization
• Aid in development of global reporting, including dashboards to provide value-add insights
• Ensure accurate and timely studio forecast submission for all TV product
• Discern performance drivers in a complex industry using data and commercial insight from regions
• Analyze TV Ultimates on a quarterly basis developing key metrics to ensure best possible accuracy
• Review actual results and concisely explain variances against budgets and forecast, market and deal, and key product categories
• Assist with the preparation of special projects, quarterly presentations and ad hoc analyses as necessary
• Collaborate with global FP&A, IT, and Commercial teams to optimize processes
• Ensure FP&A system is accurately updated. Maintain hierarchies and develop new reports as needed
• Perform insightful analyses, reports, and presentations on relevant operating and financial metrics in an easy-to-understand format to executives to influence decision-making

Skills:
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate analyses into decisions and actions
• Solid communication skills
• Experience in any or all of 1) transforming legacy manual processes into integrated digital/automated processes; 2) data intensive models/forecasting; complex/intensive analytical analysis
• Familiarity with Excel and other Office 365 applications (SAP, Power BI, Tableau a plus)
• Excellent time management, decision-making, and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated with high standards and attention to detail, along with an excellent work ethic
• Independent worker and able to manage multiple deliverables
• Continually searches for opportunities to improve internal processes
• Solid business acumen and problem-solving skills
• Proactive, self-starter and independent thinker, with strong ability to collaborate across teams
• Self-motivated, a ''get it done'' attitude and approach & strong sense of urgency when needed and efficiency in time-management
• Team player, upbeat, and focused, with a strong passion to learn and succeed

Qualifications:
• BA/BS degree (Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or other analytical disciplines preferred)
• Internship or at least 1 year of work experience
• Experience in related industries is a plus

The anticipated base salary for this position is $64,000-$80,000. This role may also qualify for annual incentive and/or comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
