The Digital Marketing Research Coordinator, part of the LATAM Research team, can be defined as someone who has the knowledge and skills for all things Digital in Media & Entertainment, strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, and excitement about working in an innovative environment. This person will work on measuring and analyzing digital marketing across Sony Pictures Television (SPT) three lines of business: Distribution, Production and Networks. With an audience-obsessed attitude, this role will be crucial – helping to identify growth initiatives, conduct market & consumer analysis, develop norms & benchmarks and identify best in class executions to turn into business cases.

Responsibilities:

Manage data from multiple sources and perform anlaysis to identify digital insights on social engagement, audience digital behavior, digital content preferences and market trends.

Analyze, interpret and sinthesize data in order to craft insightfull stories that are holistic in nature and are actionable in driving business recommendations.

Lead periodical (daily/monthly) as well as adhoc reporting/scorecards on TV Series, Formats and local language Original Productions.

Support campaigns and content performance pulling out key trends and outliers that identify untapped opportunitis or risk mitigation.

Conduct interim and post campaign anlaysis. Present findings to teams to support marketing and planning strategy.

Structure A/B and multivariate tests, ensuring the structure and tracking methodology can produce meaningful attribution insights and success measurements.

Analyze paid marketing campaigns across various platforms and channels, and help optimize for metric

Develop new insights about our audiences and communicate pertinent findings to help drive decision-making and strategies for acquisition, engagement, and retention.

Innovate in ways to share and propagate audience insights across the organization in order to influence people for making the correct business decisions, also exploration and detection of relevant and leading edge internal opportunistic projects

Lead meetings with key sales and development stakeholders, also with vendors to create partnerships for complying our business goals
- Identify key media and digital trends, including new products, creators, and content
- Analyze competitors performance (contents & channels), in LATAM
- Conduct audience and content analysis, market research (e.g. content trends, audience preferences by demo, platform)
- Help design and write presentations and analysis reports on different bussiness areas; prepairing final analysis reports for the stakeholders to understand the data analysis steps, enabling them to take important decisions based on various facts and trends
- Develop and maintain a direct working relationship with the existing research teams and any bussiness areas, within the regional offices.
- Exploration and detection of relevant and leading edge internal opportunistic projects analizyng local, national and global trends that impact both the organization and the industry
- Use automated tools to extract data from primary and secondary sources.
- Understanding and passion for the digital media landscape (e.g. AVOD, SVOD, EST, Social)

Requirements:

4+ years of experience working in advertising/online/social media research/analysis, at least 3 in Digital Marketing
- Data nomad with strong skills to collect, measure, organize and analyze data
- Strong Excel, PowerPoint skills are required.
- Experience with data visualization, Tableau/Power BI or R, also with automatization tools
- Must be analytical, have the ability to analyze audience research data and skilled at working with large data sets.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to write clear, meaningful and concise analyses.
- Experience with at least 2 social applications: Emplifi (Social Bakers), Digimind, Brandwatch, Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics
- Strong verbal and written communication skills. Fluency in English and Spanish is required (written and spoken). Portuguese is a plus.
- Strong interest and knowledge of international business, entertainment and cultures and consumer behavior.
- Must be proactive, motivated, highly-organized and a self-starte, with sharp problem solving skills.
- Team player with ability to work independently and with multiple projects.
- Ability to take ambiguous problems and develop clear, structured thinking and analysis
- Proven working experience in social media analysis

Education: Bachelor's degree is required. Needs to have a combination of technical as well leadership skills, desirable degrees in Statistics, Mathematics, Marketing or Business Administration
