Designer, TV Creative Center, Mobile Games focus
The Creative Center is the global hybrid internal agency within Sony Pictures Television that also services businesses across Sony Pictures Entertainment. This role will evangelize the ''One Sony'' philosophy and elevate the brand vision, voice, strategy for all Sony IP, both new and existing. The purpose of this position is to provide ideation, creative and subsequent execution for all clients. We service a growing group of internal Sony Pictures Entertainment partners and projects including but not limited to Sony Pictures Television Studio and subsequent labels, Franchise Marketing, Sony Networks and FAST Channels, Games, Sony Global Marketing, PR, Theatrical Marketing, Corporate Comms, D&I, P&O, CPG, Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy!, etc. Must master critical thinking, creative strategy and design and be a leader of the department. This position reports into the Creative Director and oversees and collaborates with other Creative Center team members across departments. This position is critical in establishing brand utilizing both staff and vendor/ contract resources. This role has a focus on mobile games for select Sony Pictures IP.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
75% Ideates strategic design solutions specifically in regards to mobile games creation. Will be a liaison between marketing and development groups. Must be able to work as a team member, but also be a resourceful self-starter. Must be able to see projects from concept through execution unsupervised. Projects include but not limited to: gaming UI, key art, logos, press-kits, social content, banner creation and motion graphics. Must posses a deep understanding of traditional graphic design and best practices for mobile app/game UI. Proficient working knowledge of Abobe Creative Suite required. Excellent compositing skills, illustration, typography, color correction, retouching required. AE and C4D a plus. Experience using prototyping software a plus. Experience with character development also a plus.
15% This person is a great communicator and is punctual. He/she maintains an efficient workflow and process and promptly communicates any issues regarding design and production to management. Manages assets and archives projects accordingly and understands delivery.

5% Maintain familiarity with mobile game design trends and the relevance of fast and slow trends. Exhibits an innate sense of curiosity.
Work Experience Requirements
• 5-7 years in mobile application and/or game development environment
• Strong understanding of UI and UX for mobile applications
• Strong proficiency using Adobe CC, PowerPoint. Keynote experience a plus
• Ability to manage projects from concept through execution unsupervised
• Passionate about original, acquired and library content and global branding initiatives
• Experience in editorial, sonic branding, music, live action, 2D, 3D and VEFX is a plus
Experience using Sketch and/or similar prototyping tools.
Ability to work flexible hours.
Bachelor Degree in Fine Art, Graphic Design or Digital Design
Creativity, leadership, ability to think strategically, innovation, teamwork, ability to multi-task,
communication skills, time management and prioritization skills a must

She/ he is passionate about strategic branding and creative and the elevation of these brands. She/ he is interested in entering, creating and sustaining an informed dialogue with the fan base from existing platforms as well as discovering additional avenues to engage new audiences specifically regarding social content creation.
