Analyst, Finance Operations (Business Adoption) (Based in the Philippines or Poland)

Sony Pictures Entertainment (SPE) launched a centralized Governance, Oversight and Adoption (GOA) team to ensure that SPE remains aligned to the strategic direction defined in our transformation projects. GOA will ensure that SPE realizes the expected operational value of its investments.

The Analyst role will be based either in Manila, Philippines or Gdynia, Poland, and will support the Adoption arm of GOA in all regions and report to the GOA Executive Director. Adoption includes conformity to SPE's finance policies, systems, and processes. This includes front-line support, identifying areas of non-compliance and remediation. Adoption also includes working across the GFO and Capgemini teams to standardize processes, which is needed for GOA to track adoption metrics.

This role will provide front-line support to help end users handle issues or questions related to any finance process, policy, or system. This will be done by providing hands-on day-to-day support via the shared inbox, and proactively supporting the other Adoption team members with remediation and project work.

Core Responsibilities - include the following (but not limited to):
• Support all Regions and ensure the Business Adoption is operationally efficient for the end-users
• Support other Business Adoption team members globally as required
• Maintain the Business Adoption issue intake process and manage tickets and resolutions with end users
• Capture, triage, track and resolve inquiries related to technology, process or policy
• Perform root cause analysis for problems working alongside the Adoptions team, GOA team, GFO and IT
• Review and escalate support requests to appropriate teams and management when resolution falls outside of the Business Adoption of Excellence
• Partner with GFO Teams on strong and consistent best practices across all regions
• Partnering with IT on the resolution of any issues related to system processes
• Support user acceptance testing for issue resolution and new releases to ensure feedback to project teams
• Provide project support if required on different finance and operational projects globally
• Provide, coordinate and manage training as and when required
• Ensure risks and issues are highlighted to management
• Support any proactive work streams which are part of the Business Adoption team
• Support efforts for driving regionally and global processes and undertaking continuous improvements focused on user experience, process efficiencies, issue resolution and updates to solution features and functionality

Job Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree
• SAP (S/4 HANA) and Ariba knowledge preferred
• Finance experience preferred
• Entertainment experience preferred
• One/two+ years' of professional experience with a background in a support team or project team
• Understanding of best practice Financial Operations processes, particularly those associated with the Media & Entertainment industry
• Experience managing Financial Operations processes or other core finance, accounting, or strategic planning processes
• Experience working with global stakeholders and end-users
• Extremely detail-oriented with good organizational skills, able to balance multiple tasks in a time-sensitive atmosphere
• Excellent ability to consistently anticipate users' needs through an in-depth understanding of the regional business processes and operations
• Ability to balance multiple activities in a fast-paced environment while delivering a timely and high-quality end-work product
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Demonstrates strong and effective communication skills necessary to interact effectively with internal and external customers as needed
• Must be proactive with issue identification and resolution
• A 'Customer-centric attitude with a 'continuous improvement' mindset
• Demonstrates willingness to perform additional duties when requested
