As a Promotions Specialist, you can use your exceptional communication skills and your motivation to get the job done without having to be asked. By proactively managing operational needs, you'll maximize the effectiveness of the Promotions department to promote such artists as Old Dominion, Morgan Wade, Ryan Hurd, Adam Doleac & Brad Paisley to radio-directly impacting the success of Arista Nashville.

What You'll Do:
• Contribute creative ideas and input for radio promotions and events
• Project, approve, monitor, and reconcile related budgets
• Act as liaison for promotion staff with a wide array of internal and external contacts including senior management, artists, and artist managers, as well as other external industry contacts
• Work with artist management to organize artist radio promotion tours, radio appearances and radio interviews (in partnership with regional promo staff)
• Lead/direct planning and execution of artist showcases, listening parties, and other industry related events (CRS, ACM, CMA)
• Implement and execute all radio promotions, including ''Win It Before You Can Buy It'' promotions during album launch, fly-away contests and artist specific single promotions
• Work with Marketing and Media Departments to plan and execute album launch initiatives
• Provide administrative support for all regional staff, including arranging travel, maintaining airplay add sheets and radio chart updates, creating expense reports, completing administrative tasks for contest winners (legal and travel) and managing charity, ticket, and product requests
• Under leadership of VP, Arista Promotion, proactively promote airplay for assigned artist singles in assigned radio stations, ensuring airplay goals are achieved
• In partnership with Production and Creative staff, execute single releases and album launch promotions
• Provide back-up support and represent Promotion Department at artist radio shows as needed

Who You Are:
• Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Previous knowledge of or experience in the country radio industry a plus; experience working with artist management and artists a plus
• Experience organizing events and/or executing promotion or marketing strategies
• Hands-on experience with Windows-based and Web-based applications
• Proven professionalism and interpersonal skills; excellent communication skills
• Ability to maintain the highest levels of confidentiality
• Ability to meet deadlines, working on multiple priority tasks simultaneously; ability to maintain composure and effectiveness under pressure and changing conditions
• Ability to learn new duties and adjust to new situations encountered on the job within a reasonable amount of time
• Ability to adapt behavior and manner based on expectations and needs of audience
• Strong attention to detail
