Job Description
Sony Music Entertainment (SME) is now looking for a highly motivated Senior Analyst to join the Content Protection team. This position will play a vital role in SME's efforts to combat intellectual property theft and provide a unique opportunity to work on substantive intellectual property and content protection related matters. Our ideal candidate will have experience in Intellectual Property (IP) enforcement and an interest in working at the intersection of music, technology, and copyright law.

What you'll do:
• Oversee development and execution of global IP enforcement initiatives including fraud prevention and online anti-counterfeiting programs
• Coordinate and communicate policies and procedures to Business Processing Outsourcing (BPO) team
• Promote adoption of best practices and policies among labels and affiliates
• Develop and maintain relationships with content protection vendors
• Supervise 'notice and takedown' efforts and resolve copyright disputes
• Provide support to labels and artist camps to address copyright infringement issues
• Track Key Performance Indicators (KPI) to measure efficacy of departmental programs
• Support industry trade bodies and law enforcement agencies with criminal actions

Who you are:
• Must possess B.S. or B.A. from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 1-2 years direct or equivalent experience working in IP Enforcement, Brand Protection, Fraud Prevention or related fields
• Computer programming experience preferable; must be techy-savvy
• Strong desire to work with emerging technologies
