UMPG seeks to recruit a highly motivated Music Publishing professional to fulfil the Manager, Creative Administration role within our Creative Administration team. This team is a component of our wider Global Administration organization which performs various leadership and supporting operational functions on behalf of and working in partnership with our 46 international offices and 6 sub publishers. This is an opportunity to work with the company's most prominent deals and songwriters, as well as our offices worldwide.

This role will be based in our 1755 Broadway office in New York City and will report to the Sr. Director, Creative Administration Publishing.

How you'll CREATE:
• Managing a client roster of over 300+ active contemporary songwriters and producers
• Liaise with Copyright, Business Affairs, Mechanical Licensing, Royalties, Global Admin and Film & TV Sync. depts to confirm publishing claims for UMPG controlled songs from their writers and reps for copyright registration and ingestion into the UMPG system.
• Track song deliveries as they pertain to contractual commitments
• Research and resolve split disputes and counterclaims
• Respond to high volume of admin inquiries from managers, attorneys, publishers, PROs, record labels etc.
• Compile weekly, monthly and quarterly reports for high performing songs (billboard hot 100), Spotify New Music Friday, departmental status report, etc., for company wide distribution

Bring your VIBE:
• Assist with analysis for PRO Awards and quarterly Billboard market share reporting
• Work with A&R team on a range of issues pertaining to clients catalogs, royalty accounting, copyright registration etc.
• Connect and coordinate UMPG writers in setting up Spotify Songwriter pages
• Assist UMPG and UMG PR & Corporate Communications in identifying UMPG interests in Grammy Nominations, yearend Billboard/Spotify/Apple Music charts as well as advise on information needed for various releases
• Implementation of systems and procedures for accuracy, efficiency and reporting

Salary Range:
$45,000 - $75,053

The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
