Manager, Content & National Promotion

Job Description

As a Manager, Content and National Promotion, you will play a key role in supporting the team to help our artists deliver music to their fans. Your role allows you to use your exceptional communication skills and your motivation to get the job done by proactively promoting airplay and exposure for Sony Music Nashville (SMN) artists. . Position requires interaction with members of senior management and other high-level internal and external contacts.

What you'll do:
• Help develop and implement airplay and exposure strategies for SMN artists
• Develop, cultivate and leverage relationships with industry airplay decision makers and influencers
• Schedule and execute all syndicated artist interviews including on-site visits, satellite tours + video calls, round tables, etc.
• Serve as a liaison between marketing & promotion in implementation of campaigns to enhance awareness and consumption
• Work cross-functionally within the marketing/streaming teams to develop plans to drive consumption
• Work directly with marketing, media and creative teams to collect all assets needed for promotional efforts
• Solicit, compile, capture, edit, transcribe, deliver content for national radio & marketing partners - in tandem with Content Producer
• Provide support for regionals including traveling to multiple markets to cover shows, events and manage on-site promotions, interviews and meet-n-greets at artist's shows

Who you are:
• At least two years of experience in the music industry or country radio promotion
• Proficient working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite to create and produce/edit audio and video content
• Demonstrated experience interpreting and operating BDS and Mediabase airplay systems, and ability to analyze and translate data
• Willing to work nights, weekends and travel as needed (approximately 1-2 times per month)
• Strong organizational and communication skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Ability to multitask, problem solve and prioritize
• Working knowledge of digital technology, the digital music space, social media, and online digital marketing
