Job Description
Sony Music's Global Digital Business team is looking for a Manager of Finance & Operations to join a dynamic team, assisting Directors and VP of Finance in performing various financial and operational functions. Success in the role will be dependent on strong analytical skills. They will provide efficient and reliable support to the Global Digital Business Finance and Deal Admin teams in New York, including accurate and timely forecasting and reporting of information.

What you'll do:
• Act as key liason for multi-channel network finance, including on-boarding new partners, reporting, invoicing and developing automated processes
• Day to day finance lead and management of high growth business unit within the GDB division, including: budgeting and long range planning; managing monthly g/l close and preparing monthly reporting packages; tracking funding and preparing cash forecasts
• Assist with Digital Service Provider audits, partnering with internal stakeholders to prepare and analyze necessary data
• Perform financial analysis of new and existing Digital Service Contracts (global and US deals) and ensure accounting of newly executed deals per accounting guidelines
• Prepare monthly documentation for SOX compliance, liason with auditors as necessary
• Assist in annual budget process, preparing annual budget package and uploads
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial reporting
• Reconcile and communicate monthly recharges to US labels and foreign affiliates
• Additional ad hoc special projects and analyses for corporate and senior management including preparation of Power Point presentations

Who you are:
• 3-5 years of corporate finance experience, CPA preferred
• Music or digital industry experience preferred
• Excellent analytic skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly skilled in Microsoft Excel (index/match, lookups, pivot tables, etc.) and proficient in other Microsoft Office suite applications
• SAP/Business Objects/BPC experience preferred
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, demonstrate strong analytical skills, work well under pressure
• Pragmatic, professional, highly organized and great attention to detail
