Job Description
As a Director, Marketing, you will play a key role in executing marketing plans to help our artists deliver music to their fans. Your role will lead, develop, implement and drive innovative and effective marketing plans for artist projects that drive growth for Sony Music Nashville. Position requires interaction with members of senior management and other high-level internal and external contacts.

What you'll do:
• Develop creative and strategic marketing campaigns for assigned roster of artists, while leading evaluation of effectiveness
• Serve as project manager for releases and content strategy in collaboration with other departments
• Develop and oversee artist/project timelines, advertising campaigns, and marketing plans
• Label liaison with artist management and international teams to communicate goals, marketing plans and expectations
• Foster mutually beneficial relationships with industry trade organizations, video networks, booking agents, and business managers
• Create marketing budgets and provide budget oversight for all artist releases, meeting annual overhead and profitability targets

Who you are:
• You have at least two years of music experience
• You have at least six years of progressive experience in marketing and/or branding with demonstrated knowledge of brand management and advertising principles as well as previous experience in a wide variety of marketing disciplines, including brand strategy, marketing plan development, and digital marketing
• Previous record label experience and experience working in country music, strongly preferred
• Demonstrated creative experience with campaign oversight and team leadership
• Able to effectively direct and lead meetings, and think strategically with varying pieces of information to develop them into goals
• Proven leadership and communication skills in directing and influencing partners within and outside immediate work group
• A thoughtful, organized and results-oriented professional with proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Able to multitask, problem solve and prioritize in a fast-paced creative environment
