SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test)

What you'll do:
• Plan and implement automated and manual tests for applications on and off the PlayStation console.
• Work closely with console developers to ensure that all features and bug fixes come with automated test coverage.
• Maintain and enhance existing Python based automation framework.
• Engage in cross-team test initiatives for new and evolving features
• Drive high standards of quality for both engineering decisions and customer-facing features.
• Report, track and verify defects.
Required Qualifications:
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or ability to demonstrate equivalent knowledge.
• At least three years or equivalent experience in sophisticated UI automation for web applications.
• Previous experience writing automated tests in Python.
• Experience with Selenium or Appium.
• Experience with at least one modern web application framework, preferably React.
• Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work both independently and collaboratively as needed.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience developing or testing a non-PC device (phone/game
console/set-top box, etc.)
• Experience with React Native.
• Experience developing or writing test code for a game console.
