Job Description

Sony Interactive Entertainment LLC seeks a Senior Software Engineer in San Francisco, CA to review customized design for UI and UX to align with existing principles and structures. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or related field or equivalent, and three (3) years of experience executing the full software development lifecycle and writing testable and efficient code. Must include three (3) years of experience implementing customized designs for UI and UX to align with existing principles and structures; reviewing source code from developers to identify potential issues and provide feedback; identifying, tracking and fixing defects using bug-tracking tools; profiling code and implementing unique performance and memory optimizations; restructuring and upgrading codebase with new technologies to improve development experience and codebase maintainability; writing unit tests to reduce occurrence of defects, maintaining and extending customized unit testing structure; using Node.js modules for bootstrapping, transpiling and performing build steps for web and mobile applications and implementing custom build processes; utilizing modern web application framework including React; developing C# modules; and utilizing Typescript, npm, Git version control and Visual Studio tooling.
