Job Description

Sony Interactive Entertainment LLC seeks a Lead Software Systems Engineer in San Francisco, CA to manage escalations from internal and external teams to troubleshoot issues on non-production and production environments. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, or related field or equivalent, and three (3) years of experience troubleshooting issues on non-production and production environments. Prior experience must include three (3) years of experience monitoring and addressing issues for all platform services, including server health, connectivity, and infrastructure; setting up automation using Jenkins, and building and using architectures that enable Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment; working on phases of software development lifecycle, including analysis, planning, developing, testing, implementing, and post-production analysis of the projects; working on costing aspects, including monitoring of cost and performance and strategies for minimizing cost; utilizing Lambda and AWS serverless services; conducting post-incident reviews to analyze root cause and define action items; and utilizing network and large-scale UNIX system troubleshooting and maintenance practices.
