Regional Sales Manager - Medical (REMOTE)

Sinclair Broadcast Group is looking for an experienced Regional Sales Manager with deep expertise in the operations and unique marketing needs of healthcare clients to become Sinclair's local market subject matter expert. Familiarity with selling local and/or regional advertising solutions to the healthcare industry is a large plus for this position. Additionally, contacts within the healthcare industry, especially in the areas of Hospitals and Physician Practices are highly desired.

This role will be both a player and a coach that can teach local sales teams how to be successful as a marketer in this competitive category. The winning candidate will design and implement revenue growth strategies for their assigned markets. Creating solid partnerships with healthcare clients and Sinclair station leadership will be key to success.

Specific Duties include:
• Exceed expectations for market penetration, average deal size, and total revenue in assigned geography
• Maintain consistent presence in the field driving growth from local, regional, and national medical/healthcare/wellness clients and their agency partners
• Develop, implement, and manage business plans to exceed revenue goals within the assigned regions
• Act as player/coach on in-person sales calls with key decision makers and local Marketing Consultants throughout the territory
• Conduct immersive training/coaching sessions with sales teams based on Sinclair marketing philosophy
• Collaborate with in-market Sinclair leadership to assist with supporting local Marketing Consultants
• Work closely with sales management and corporate staff to ensure coordination and cooperation in support of sales and operations
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Desired Skills/Experience:
• Demonstrated success in winning business in the broad healthcare category
• Strong business acumen with a thorough understanding of marketing strategies, the health and wellness industry and patient activation
• Real experience and success communicating and working directly with healthcare clients on identifying and achieving their business goals
• Proven track record of successfully developing and managing people and sales process
• Strength in running multiple unique strategic projects concurrently

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree
• 3+ years of experience in healthcare sales and marketing, preferably digital and broadcast
• Knowledge of the healthcare landscape
• Experience managing a large sales territory
• Proficient in the use of office software and CRM tools
• Excellent communication, presentation, planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills

The base salary compensation range for this role is $120,000 to $125,000. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidates' relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. Full time positions are eligible for benefits that include participation in a retirement plan, life and disability insurance, health, dental and vision plans, flexible spending accounts, sick leave, vacation time, personal time, parental leave and employee stock purchase plan.
