The Opportunity

We are looking for a highly motivated Project Coordinator to join Sinclair Broadcast Group's Innovation & Strategy Team. At Sinclair Broadcast Group, our mission is to connect people with content everywhere – and a core part of this mission involves deepening our competitive edge. You will play a key role in managing initiatives that create new revenue opportunities from ideation through maturation.

Who You Are

You are an organized thinker and problem solver with proven project coordination skills and a consultant mindset. You have a track record of being a self-starter and ability to coordinate projects from beginning to end. You love to be collaborative and influence others around you to come together towards a common goal. This position is a hybrid role based in Baltimore, MD.

Responsibilities:
• Assist with initiatives, including project communications, scheduling meetings, taking meeting notes, updating project artifacts (e.g., project schedules, presentation decks, tracking logs, reporting, etc.
• Assist with tracking and mitigating project risk.
• Assist Project Managers with multiple initiatives of varying size and complexity.
• Liaise with initiative stakeholders to gather and communicate status, risks, and action items.

Skills and Qualifications:
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience
• 1- 3 years' experience working on projects
• Experience in coordinating teams, including external stakeholders
• Ability to communicate and collaborate proactively and effectively with peers, supervisors, and colleagues.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
• Familiarity with or willingness to learn Microsoft Project and/or other project tracking tools (e.g., Monday.com, Smartsheet, Jira, etc.)
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Instinctive qualities of accountability and follow-through
• Interest in continuous learning and improvement.
• Ability to plan, organize, track, report, and present to a variety of audiences.

The base salary compensation range for this role is $80,000 to $100,000. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidates' relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. Full time positions are eligible for benefits that include participation in a retirement plan, life and disability insurance, health, dental and vision plans, flexible spending accounts, sick leave, vacation time, personal time, parental leave, and employee stock purchase plan.
