Job Description
Our Preditor is responsible for the day-to-day editing of video, as well as concept development, writing and producing of promos, and other content for COMET and CHARGE!. Our Preditor is a strong video storyteller who develops creative from concept to delivery according to strategic direction while staying within emerging network brands. They possess strong video editing skills and are a collaborative partner, eager to work with the entire creative team.
Our Preditor is a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, team oriented, and results-driven environment. They possesses excellent interpersonal skills in order toto effectively interact with emerging network stakeholders on a regular basis.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Edits video content for the Sinclair Growth Networks.
• Conceptualizes, writes, produces, edits, and packages engaging video content for linear experiences.
• Maintains technical standards of all post-production content.
• Edits graphics and video in a deadline-driven environment.
• Creates versioning edits for different platforms.
• Collaborate with peers and production personnel on all projects to generate high quality content.
• Utilizes industry standard digital content and editing software.
• Exhibits disciplined data and metadata management in addition to strong archiving skills across projects, applications, and databases to optimize collaboration.
• Maintains brand voices for all networks through overall tone and images; works in close collaboration with the team's graphic designer as well as other individuals within the division.
Required skills and experience:
• A minimum of an undergraduate degree.
• 3+ years of editing experience in the linear television, digital video, or OTT content space
• Strong graphic and video editing skills in a deadline-driven environment
• Excellent experience with digital content management systems, digital workflows, subscriptions, analytics, and data
• Ability to juggle heavy workloads and keep multiple projects on track
• A deep understanding of how to organize and manage content ingestion and editorial / scheduling
• A comprehensive knowledge and understanding of fast developing trends in digital video
• Extensive experience with video and image editing software and processes, including Premiere Pro

The base hourly compensation range for this role is $26.50 - $29.80 per hour. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidates' relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. Full time positions are eligible for benefits that include participation in a retirement plan, life and disability insurance, health, dental and vision plans, flexible spending accounts, sick leave, vacation time, personal time, parental leave and employee stock purchase plan.
